The documentary "John Lewis: Good Trouble" about the life and times of the late U.S. House of Representatives member, will be shown online at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a presentation organized by The Heritage Fund — the Community Foundation of Bartholomew County, the African American Fund and others. The 96-minute production highlights Lewis’ lengthy record of activism on civil rights, voting rights, immigration, health care and other issues.

Lewis served for 33 years in Congress. He was among the organizational leaders responsible for the 1963 March on Washington and, two years later, was among minority voting-rights marchers assaulted by riot police as the marchers attempted to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. The day became known as Bloody Sunday.
