The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department is offering another activity kit for kids to complete at home — but this time, instead of a “Camp in a Box,” it’s a “Holiday in a Box.”
According to the department’s Facebook page, the boxes are $25 each, and the deadline to register is 5 p.m. Monday.
“Enjoy a week of fun and festive activities, crafts, games, stories and videos all in the comfort of your home!” the department said in its post. It added that each box will contain the materials and instructions needed for the week’s activities.
While Holiday in a Box is designed for ages 5 to 8, the department said that “children of all ages may participate” (though those under 5 may require some help).
The boxes will be delivered on Dec. 18 between 9:30 and 1 p.m. Registration is available by going to www.columbusparksandrec.com and clicking “register online” or by calling 812-376-2680.
