I have a suggestion for our Board of Works regarding the traffic calming measures being implemented in Columbus. Scrap them! They will never work. They are a waste of time and money.
There may a solution. It might sound very drastic. Enforce the law! Some hefty fines or loss of driving privileges might calm things down. Roundabouts, stop signs, flashing lights, flowers, etc., never will.
Aggressive driving is way out of control on our streets and highways. Traffic laws were instituted to make our streets safe to drive on. It’s high time someone started enforcing them.
