COLUMBUS
Judith Ann Strahl, 79, of Columbus, passed from this life at 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022, surrounded by family at her home.
Mrs. Strahl was born March 2, 1942, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Carl E. and Maxine E. Lang Fischer.
Judith married Perry Richard Baxter June 28, 1962; he preceded her in death August 22, 1984.
She later married Robert Lee Strahl October 15, 1988; he preceded her in death October 27, 2017.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, buck’s and doe’s square dancing club and FCRV camping club and was a 4-H leader for 40 years.
Survivors include her children, Nancy (Leon) Swift of Edinburgh, Jill (Scott) Renner of Columbus, Tony (Kelly) Strahl of Columbus and Darrell Strahl of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Carol) Fischer of Florida and John (Donna) Fischer of Greenwood and a sister, Pauline (Bernie) Morris of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a son, Michael Strahl and a granddaughter, Cady Lynn Garrison.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Todd Riordan officiating.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest next to her husbands at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the 4-H Fair Foundation, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Faith Preschool Designate Funds.
