NORTH VERNON — Jeffersonville scored four times in the top of the second and went on to hand Jennings County a 7-1 defeat in the opening round of the Jennings Sectional.

Eagles fall to Mustangs

BLOOMINGTON — Edgewood scored 15 times in the first two innings and went on to hand Brown County a 21-2, five-inning loss in the first round of the Edgewood Sectional. Because of weather, the game was moved to Bloomington North, which has a turf field.
