Cameron Jacob Welch, 33 of Hope, Indiana passed away on July 16, 2022. He was the son of Jeffrey and Jill Welch, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, Daniel (Emily) Welch; grandparents, John and Patsy Welch of Columbus; Aunts, Gayla Welch Kane, Lisa Welch, and Elaine Ott; Uncles Bruce (Marsha) Ott and Mike (Cindy) Ott, all of Columbus; as well as several cousins and very special friends.
Along with his parents, Cameron was preceded in death by grandparents, Marshall and Betty Ott; Uncle Roger Ott; and cousin, Seth Crossland.
Cameron graduated from Columbus North High School and attended Indiana University Jacobs School of Music studying Arts Management.
His beautiful gift of voice and love for music and theater began at a young age being a proud member of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir. He continued his passion by participating in numerous school and local theater and choir groups and productions.
Cameron loved and was greatly devoted to his family and friends. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing his special dishes for all to enjoy. He worked in numerous positions in the restaurant industry, his last position being Event Manager at First Class Catering.
Please join Cameron’s family in celebrating his life on Wednesday, August 10 at Myers-Reed Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a short memorial service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Cameron to be made to the Indianapolis Children’s Choir.
