Bull Frogs sweep dual meet from Panthers

NORTH VERNON — Columbus North swept a swim meet at Jennings County on Tuesday, winning the boys contest 126.5-48.5 and the girls meet 117-65.

Jude Abdallah won the 200-yard freestyle (1 minute, 58.82 seconds) and 100 breaststroke (1:06.43), and Cole Ehara took the 200 individual medley (2:10.56) and 100 butterfly (59.03) to lead the Bull Frog boys. Robert Cantu captured the diving competition (154.70), Maclain Clock won the 100 backstroke (1:02.74) and North swept the 200 medley (1:48.11), 200 freestyle (1:35.11) and 400 freestyle (3:41.04) relays.

The Panther boys were led by wins from Levi Marsh in the 50 freestyle (23.76) and 100 freestyle (54.17) and Noah McFall in the 500 freestyle (5:26.73).

Ainsley Sherlock

Ainsley Sherlock led the Bull Frog girls with wins in the 100 butterfly (1:08.08) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.69). Lydia Putney took the diving (144.35), Cora Tregoning captured the 500 freestyle (6:17.76), Katie Frazier won the 100 backstroke (1:11.51) and North swept the 200 medley (2:03.29), 200 freestyle (1:52.88) and 400 freestyle (4:15.04) relays.

For Jennings, Avery Witt won the 50 freestyle (25.90) and 100 freestyle (56.25). Lydia Ponsler took the 200 freestyle (2:19.62), and Tatum Brown captured the 200 IM (2:23.72).
