Duncan misses cut despite second-round 70

PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Tyler Duncan fired a 1-under-par 70 in Friday’s second round, but missed the cut to the final two rounds of the Valspar Championship.

The Columbus North graduate had opened with a 77 on Thursday. He finished at 5-over 147 for 36 holes.

Adam Schenk leads the tournament at 7-under 135. Kramer Hickok is one shot back at 6-under 136.
