COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District (BCSWMD) will be asking Petersville Convenience Station customers to sort recyclables by type beginning Aug. 12. The site is located at 11110 25th St.
The change is being made to reduce costs as staff processes the material.
Containers will be marked for paper, plastics depending on color and metal or steel cans.
Cardboard will continue to be collected.
All items should be clean and dry, and separated.
