SPENCER — Brown County came close in the third set Tuesday, but came away with a 25-17, 25-19, 27-25 Western Indiana Conference Indiana loss at Owen Valley.
Anna Stogsdill pounded nine kills, Grace Johnson recorded 19 assists, Cady Kemp had two blocks and Ava Kelly notched 33 digs to lead the Eagles (0-3). Ella East tallied four kills, and Stogstill added 31 digs.
