FRANKLIN — Columbus East saw its girls golf season come to an end with a 12th-place finish in Saturday’s Franklin Regional.
The Olympians finished with a 407 team total. Center Grove (300), Floyd Central (311) and Franklin (314) claimed the three team qualifying spots to next weekend’s state finals.
Carter Gant led East with an 86. Grace LaSell carded a 101, Dyana Foster added a 103, Allison Sharpe shot 117 and Ali Trueblood had a 120.
Columbus North, Brown County and Jennings County all had one individual playing. North’s Erin Hopkins carded a 87, the Eagles’ Lilly VanNess shot 88 and the Panthers’ Lauren Galvan had a 105.
