Columbus Regional Health Foundation’s Reverse Raffle raised $170,000 to help the Volunteers in Medicine clinic serve the county’s uninsured and underinsured residents.


It took an all-day and into-the-night process that used about 100 concrete truckloads to pour the deck of the Second Street Bridge.


A caravan of Packards, Lincoln Continentals, Rolls Royces, Pierce Arrows, a Cadillac and a Lincoln, all built between 1925 and 1942, stopped at Columbus Visitors Center on its was to an awards banquet of the Classic Car Club of America at Otter Creek club house.
