COLUMBIA, Ky. — IU Columbus softball dropped both games of a doubleheader at Lindsey Wilson on Tuesday, falling 7-1 and 8-0.
The Crimson Pride matched Lindsey Wilson with nine hits in the opener. Nine different players, including Columbus North graduates Taylor Hadley and Lexi Heafner and Jennings County grad Abby McDonald, recorded one hit. Starting pitcher Callie Beikes took the loss.
IUC was no-hit in the second game. Heafner had a sacrifice. Starter Sydney Owens took the loss.
The Crimson Pride (1-9) host a doubleheader with Alice Lloyd on Friday and a doubleheader with Shawnee State on Saturday.
