EDINBURGH — Edinburgh kicked off its baseball season with a win on Monday, an 11-1 five-inning victory against Purdue Polytecnhic-Broad Ripple.
Avynn Whitaker and Gabe Bennett combined on a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts for the Lancers.
Austin Brockman went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs. Brayden Schoettmer went 2 for 2 with a double, Dakota Graw went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and Gabe Bennett went 2 for 4.
