GREENSBURG — Oldenburg Academy scored 10 times in the top of the first Thursday, but South Decatur rallied to pick up its first softball win of the season, a 27-17, five-inning victory.
Piper Phelps went 3 for 4 with a double and two triples, and Sam Cole went 3 for 4 for the Cougars (1-1). Daisy Martin and Brooklyn Powers each went 2 for 4 with a double, Molly Eden went 2 for 5 with two doubles and Paige Paton and pitcher Lydia Witkemper each went 2 for 5.
