BROWNSTOWN — Jennings County pushed across a run in the top of the seventh Thursday to pull out an 8-7 softball win at Brownstown Central.
Maycie Ward went 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for the Panthers (2-1). Malia Johnson went 2 for 3 with a double, Jillian Brauer went 2 for 4 with a double and Alexis Carson went 2 for 4.
Kenzie Matern pitched the final two innings to pick up the win.
