Olympians rout Cougars, improve to 2-0

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus East broke open a close game by scoring six times in the fifth and went on to post a 10-1 softball win Thursday at Bloomington North.

Baleigh Fish went 3 for 4 with a double, a home run and two RBIs, and pitched two perfect innings of relief to lead the Olympians (2-0). Raegyn Foster allowed one run and three hits over the first five innings.

Lola Watkins went 2 for 4 for East. Mackenzie Hampton had a double.
