HOPE — Simeon Wasil threw a no-hitter Friday to lead Hauser to a 10-0, five-inning Mid-Hoosier Conference baseball win against Edinburgh.
Wasil struck out 10 and walked five. He also had a triple and three RBIs at the plate.
Kase Meister and Holden Pittman each had a home run and two RBIs for the Jets (2-2, 1-0), who scored two in the first, two in the second and six in the fourth.
Avynn Whitaker and Gabe Bennett combined on a seven-hitter for the Lancers (3-2, 0-1).
