SAN ANTONIO — Tyler Duncan fired his second consecutive 1-under-par 71 Friday and is tied for 18th place at the midway point of the Valero Texas Open.
Starting on the back nine, the Columbus North graduate had two birdies and a bogey on his first nine Friday before finishing with nine straight pars on the front nine at TPC San Antonio (Oaks Course).
Akshay Bhatia leads the tournament at 11-under 133. Brendon Todd, Russell Henley and Denny McCarthy are five shots back at 6-under 138.
