Columbus East dropped a softball doubleheader to Franklin on Saturday, falling 3-1 and 8-3.
The Olympians matched the Grizzly Cubs with seven hits in the opener. Savanna Sullivan went 2 for 4 with a double, and Lola Watkins and Baleigh Fish each went 2 for 4. Hermione Robinson allowed only one earned run and struck out eight in the complete game.
Sullivan went 3 for 3 with two home runs and two RBIs in the second game. Fish threw a complete game, allowing nine hits and only three earned runs.
