NORTH VERNON
Jeffrey Allan Wettrick, 49, of North Vernon, passed away at 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at his residence.
Born November 15, 1971, in Madison, he was the son of Richard and Margaret (Graham) Wettrick. He married Rhonda Scifres on June 16, 1995, in Sevierville, Tennessee; she survives.
Jeffrey was a 1990 graduate of Jennings County High School and a 1993 graduate of Ivy Tech College with an Electronics (technology) Degree. He was currently employed as a sales executive and insurance agent for Martin Insurance in North Vernon and had previously worked for 13 years with Farm Bureau in North Vernon and Reedy Insurance in Seymour. Jeffrey had also previously worked for All-Star Paving for five years. He was of the Christian faith and a lifetime Bass Member, a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #541 and a former member of Winding Waters Bass Masters. Jeffrey enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and working with his hands.
Surviving with his wife, Rhonda are his son, Zachary Allan Wettrick of North Vernon; parents, Richard and Margaret Wettrick of North Vernon; brother, Terrance Wayne Wettrick of Scipio; and nephew, Liam Alexander Wettrick of Scipio.
In keeping with his and the family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no service to be held at this time. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service was entrusted with the care of these arrangements.
Memorials may be made in honor of Jeffrey through the funeral home to Autism Awareness.
