An Eighth Street home and a vehicle outside were sprayed with gunfire in the early morning hours.


Sixteen instructors from a variety of backgrounds with 14 teen assistants conducted a variety of out-of-the-ordinary classes, such as slug vs. snail races, at the 13th annual Super Saturday event at Indiana University Purdue University Columbus.


An application for a $75,000 federal grant to help reconstruct the city’s Greenbelt golf course and build tennis courts and a clubhouse was denied by the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation.
