IU Columbus will host a community open house for its athletics program from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the new Nexus Park Fieldhouse.
Participants and try to score a goal against a Crimson Pride soccer goalkeeper, watch the new cheer and dance teams perform; shoot baskets with IUC athletes on the new basketball court; chat with Crimson pride coaches, athletes and athletics staff and get a free IUC t-shirt while supplies last.
“We are hosting this family event to encourage the community to come out and meet their local college teams, while enjoying this incredible facility,” IU Columbus athletics director Zach McClellan said. “It’s also a chance for parents, teachers and area students to learn more about the collegiate programs available in their own backyard.”
