GREENSBURG — South Decatur scored five times in the first inning Monday and went on to post a 10-1 Mid-Hoosier Conference baseball win at North Decatur.
JP Scudder threw a four-hitter with 16 strikeouts and went 2 for 4 at the plate to lead the Cougars (12-5, 9-2). Corey Nugent went 3 for 4 with a double, Toby Bishop went 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs, Colby Rathburn went 2 for 3 with a double and Brock Lane went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs.
