EDINBURGH — The Columbus North boys golf team showed more progress Monday despite playing against one of the top teams in the state in Bloomington South.

HOPE — Hauser swept the singles spots Monday in a 4-1 girls tennis win against Madison.

Hauser scored a 198 Monday to win a boys golf match against Waldron, which had only three players, one short of the number needed to score as a team.

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County did not drop a game in four of the five matches Monday in posting a 5-0 girls tennis win against Columbus East.

South Decatur scored nine times in the first inning Monday and went on to hand Columbus Christian a 17-3, five-inning softball defeat.
