Asbury United Methodist Church — Asbury offers a traditional service at 8:45 a.m. and a contemporary service at 11 a.m. Nursery is available for both services. J.A.M. (children’s church) is offered at both services. The church also offers Sunday school classes at 10 a.m.

Every Thursday when school is in full-day session, a $4 taco/chicken lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Pit Stop (Taco Church) Lunch.

Columbus Baptist Church — The church offers worship services on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. A teen service is offered at 6:30 p.m. Sunday school for all ages meets at 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday Bible study, Kids Club and teens meet at 6:30 p.m. There are various small group events weekly.

Community Church of Columbus — Community Church of Columbus meets for Sunday service at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The second service is livestreamed and available on the Community Church’s Columbus Indiana Facebook page and Community Church of Columbus YouTube channel.

East Columbus Christian Church — East Columbus Christian Church is open for in-person worship on Sunday mornings with a blended worship service at 10 a.m. The church also has online worship available through Facebook and YouTube.
Sunday morning Bible study is at 9 a.m. Youth meet at the church from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and children’s ministry meets through Zoom on Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

East Columbus United Methodist Church — Pastor Jongmin Lee will bring the message at the 9 a.m. Sunday worship service. The blended worship service includes praise music, traditional hymns and children’s moment. Sunday school is held immediately after the morning service, and classes are available for all ages and Bible interests. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
A free hot meal will be served Dec. 11 and the second Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. in the Youth Center Building. All are welcome to come.

Fairlawn Presbyterian Church — The church is now open for in-person service at 9:30 a.m. If you would like to join on Zoom, please email the church office at [email protected] to request a Zoom link.
Fellowship and coffee hour is every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Please contact the church for the Zoom link.
Women’s Bible study is Dec. 20 and the third Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m.

Faith Lutheran Church — Worship each Sunday begins at 9 a.m. in-person and livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page. Most Sundays, Sunday school and an adult Bible study are offered from 10:15 to 11 a.m. Wednesday evening worship (masks optional) is offered at 6:30 p.m. each week. The congregation also livestreams a daily devotion and prayer Monday through Thursday at 7 a.m. on the Facebook page.
Preschool classes continue and the congregation offers an afterschool program each school day from 3 to 5:30 p.m. with busing from Southside Elementary.

First Baptist Church — First Baptist welcomes all to join at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in person or at firstbaptistcolumbus.org/video for their livestreamed service. Recordings of the services are also available.

First Christian Church — The church is offering services in person and online at 9 and 10:30 a.m. FCC Kids is at 10:30 a.m. and FCC Teens is at 9 a.m.

First Lutheran Church — The church offers in-person worship on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. for the classic service and 11:15 a.m. for the casual service. Livestreaming of both services can be accessed on the church’s YouTube page.

First Presbyterian Church — The church celebrates the last Sunday in the church calendar: The Reign of Christ Sunday. The sermon will be titled “Are you not the Messiah?” which comes from Luke 23:33-43 (and the church will also look at Jeremiah 23:1-6 and Colossians 1:11-20). The church will have a 9:30 a.m. worship in person in the sanctuary (you may wear a mask) or on Facebook, Zoom or YouTube. For more details, please refer to our website: www.fpccolumbus.org.
People in the community in need of a meal are invited to our hot meals offered Fridays at 5 p.m. (Please enter through the glass doors on Franklin Street.) We are an LGBTQ-friendly church, open and affirming to all.

First United Methodist Church — On Sunday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m., the Rev. In Suk Peebles will deliver the message.
The church encourages those attending in person to arrive 10 minutes before the service. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary. Masks are optional. Childcare will be available from 9:45 a.m. until the end of the 10 a.m. service.
For those unable to attend the in-person service or not yet comfortable meeting in person, service livestreams will be available on the church Facebook page, and the church YouTube channel (FUMC Columbus). Videos will be available on the church website for later viewing as well.
On Saturday, Nov. 19, the church will have its 32nd annual Cookie Walk. You can create your own box of decorated and specialty cookies sold by the pound ($7), and fudge, divinity, and other candies by the half pound ($5) including allergy-friendly and vegan treats. Stop by the church between 9 a.m. and noon on Nov. 19 to buy some cookies. You can also preorder treats and pick them up on the 19th between 9 a.m. and noon by calling the church office at 812-372-2851.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, the church will have Santa’s Workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Bring your kids and grandkids to for a fun time to participate in various activities and make crafts that could become gifts for family members this Christmas! Flintwood Wesleyan Church — Sunday morning worship begins at 9 a.m. with the Amplify (contemporary) service. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. with classes for all age groups. The Well (traditional) service begins at 11 a.m. Both worship services are led by Pastor Wesley Jones. The church’s Sunday Amplify services are livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.
Wednesday activities begin with a meal served at 5:30 p.m. in the friendship center. The iKids program begins at 6:15 p.m. and youth meet downstairs in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. Prayer team meets in the prayer room downstairs in the main building at 6:15 p.m., and adult Bible study meets at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Scouts meet Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Garden City Christian Church — Sunday School classes are available for infants through adults at 9 a.m. On Nov. 20, Pastor Brian Gilroy teaches how to experience the victory of unwavering faith, as the church learns about an unlikely hero delivering God’s chosen people, in the sermon series, “Five Smooth Stones”.
If you are a caregiver, join the church’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group, which meets on the first Tuesday of each month, from 4:30 until 6 p.m.
Wednesday evening youth group, led by interim youth minister Ryan Croft, runs from 6 to 8 p.m. for grades 6-12. Trail Life Troop IN-0110 meets twice monthly on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.

Grace Lutheran Church — The church hosts Sunday worship services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. in person and livestreamed at gracecolumbus.org. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m.

Memorial Baptist Church — The church is offering in-person and online worship services at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school is offered online at 10:45 a.m. Online services are via Facebook and YouTube.

Mount Pleasant Christian Union Church — The church invites the community to visit their little 150-year-old country church for a 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. The church preaches out of the King James Bible and sings out of hymn books.

Newbern United Methodist Church — The church is practicing strict COVID-19 preventative measures. Masks are required. All activities are postponed until further notice except for Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. and online Bible study each Wednesday at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
Old Union United Church of Christ — Pastor Al White, the church’s transitional pastor, is leading worship and sharing messages that encourage firm foundations of faith in Jesus. Simple church — simply Jesus.
The church has added a time for discipleship growth at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings. There’s always a coffee and donut time downstairs before the morning worship time at 10 a.m.

Petersville United Methodist Church — Pastor Rebecca Milne will bring her message, “The Kingdom Come,” on Sunday morning Nov. 20 at the 9 a.m. service. Scriptures will be from Luke 23:33-43. She will emphasize that following King Jesus means living in a way that makes His Kingdom visible and tangible.
Communion will be served to the congregation.
Kathy Bush will serve as worship and song leader, and Teresa Covert will share a message with the children.
Fellowship and refreshments will follow the service.
Coming up, on Sunday, Nov. 27, the church will mark the first Sunday of Advent with concentration on the word “hope”.
There will be a “Kid’s Fun Day” on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church; children will experience crafts, a movie, lunch and more. Attendees must register on the Petersville United Methodist Church’s Facebook Page.

Sandy Hook United Methodist Church — Sandy Hook United Methodist Church gathers weekly for in-person and online worship. The church will offer two services on Sunday, Nov. 20 — the traditional service at 8:45 a.m. and the contemporary service at 11 a.m. Pastor Paul Dazet will bring a message about “Thy Kingdom Comes” to celebrate “Christ the King Sunday.”
Nursery is available for children 2 and younger from 8:30 a.m. through the end of second service. Sunday School is offered for all ages between the two services.
Once again, the church will be working with the coordinators of More than a Meal. Morgan Humphrey is doing this as her senior project. The meals are cooked, boxed, bagged and delivered out of Sandy Hook UMC. Everything is purchased with donations from the community. If anyone is interested in receiving a Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday evening, Nov. 23, there is a sign-up link on the church’s Facebook page. Last year we delivered more than 600 meals.

St. Paul Lutheran Church — Christ The King Sunday will be celebrated Sunday with Pastor Jeff Patterson delivering the message, “Welcome to Paradise” based on Luke 23:27-43 at the 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship services.
Christian Educational classes for all ages begin at 9:30 a.m. DCE Cheryl LaBelle will lead a small Bible class entitled “Simple Habits for Effective Parenting” in the Conference Room and Pastor Bauman will lead Bible study entitled, ”God’s Plan – Your Purpose” in the Fellowship Room. The Spanish worship service will be in the fellowship room at 10:45 a.m. with Spanish Bible Study at 12:15 p.m.
Thanksgiving Eve service with Holy Communion will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bauman delivering the message “First Things First” based on Luke 17:11-19.
Radio worship service is every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on WYGS 91.1 FM, which also broadcasts the Lutheran Hour every Sunday at 7 p.m.
The Wednesday morning adult Bible class will meet in the fellowship room at 9 a.m. studying the Gospel of John. All are welcome.

Wilson Chapel — Two free concerts with love offerings taken for the artists. Jim Hutson, Southern Gospel music solo artist, will perform on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m.
Blake and Jenna Bolerjack, award winning Christian vocal duo who meld their voices to create a signature, velvety blend, will perform a Christmas Concert on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. Their Christmas concert will feature well-known Christmas favorites as well as new songs resulting in a fun, eclectic holiday mix of Gospel, pop, Southern gospel and classical selections.
